We were invited to an 80th birthday. The food, I had a rump steak with side dishes, was just great. The service very friendly and competent. Despite large company and different orders, the food came pretty soon. We will be back.

Eat well, for a fair price. The atmosphere invites you to linger and the children can play relaxed. The staff is very friendly and helpful and go to the wishes of the children, which I found very nice. We can highly recommend it.

As part of a company party, we paid a visit to the Burgklause. There's a bowling alley down in the basement that we used for two hours. It was practical that you didn't have to walk upstairs to order drinks, but simply pressed a bell, next to which an intercom was installed. So you could easily place your order. We ate upstairs. The shop was full, but our glasses didn't stay empty! The food was really delicious - especially the steak menu was very impressive! Gladly again!!!

Food was scrummy, service was very good, ambience was welcoming. Reasonable prices. Would definitely go there again. Oh and the owner and other staff were very tolerant of my nieces as they thundered through their space.

Had a rump steak, chips and salad and for free a small portion of potato soup and it was all delicious! Much was with garlic but since I love Kloblauch I found it perfect! Also very nice and competent service ...

Chef Till Herkenrath conjures up the best down-to-earth cuisine in a typical Veedel pub. Great experience.
